Top Five Things To Do This Fall

#1  Visit HalloWeekends at Cedar Point.

September 13 through October 27

During daylight, families can enjoy parades, costume contests, plenty of treats and tamer tricks. By night, the park falls under a more ominous shadow as more than 300 creepy characters are unleashed throughout the peninsula. Ten spine-tingling walk-through attractions, live shows and more in addition to nearly seventy thrilling rides.

#2 Go to a Pumpkin Patch and Hayride.

We recommend Patterson’s Farm Market, Mapleside Farms and Heritage Farms.

#3 Go for a Hike in Lake View Cemetery.

This is a surreal place with a ton of history. We highly recommend going to the top of James A. Garfield monument. The top of the monument has our vote for the best view of Cleveland! The cemetery is also a great place to have a history lesson with the kids. Check out their website below for the list of famous people who made Lake View their final resting place.

#4 Take the Kids to the West Side Market.

Home to over 100 vendors. Fine meats and fresh vegetables, fresh seafood, baked goods, dairy and cheese products, and even fresh flowers. There are also booths that sell ready-to-eat foods, herbs, candy and nuts.
